I recently got a 10 inch stocker and it swims on its side...the side of its body is completely parallel to the ground when it swims. I tried tweaking the eyelet, but couldnt fix it at all. I am planning on trying to weight it a bit with a nail weight or two, but I feel like the bait swims so far off, that weighting it wont help at all. Any suggestions on what to do?

thanks,
nate

Nate,

Sounds like you just got a bad one. I would say that 98% of the baits run true out of the packaging but occassionally (rairly) I have had one that needed minor tuning. I've benn throwing these baits for about 8 years now and haven't had an occurance like you mentioned. It sounds like this bait was just a bad seed. E-mail me at trout.tosser@gmail.com and I'll let you know what to do.

I would just take it back to where you bought it, I am sure a reputable shop will exchange it.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the guys that make the Stocker stick behind their bait 100% and did MUCH more than was necessary to fix the problem.
