Hello guys I have a 12' Jon Boat I don't know if I still need to register it or not. I've also put Minkota Trolling motor 35# thrust on it. You think thats good enough. Thanks for all your help guys

If you plan on using it with a motor of any sort it's gotta be registered. Take the hull identification number and fill out the forms at your local DMV or AAA branch. If you have a trailer, that also needs to be registered--the DMV requires you to bring the trailer in to record the VIN and manufacturer information.

Any boat over 9ft long has to be registered regardless and if it's under 9ft and has a motor then it needs to be registered also
