Trying to decide which is the best value for a light jig/carolina rod. Mind you, this is not about which is the best rod, but the best VALUE.

Poll question: Which rod is a better value? Meaning Quality vs. Price

I use their 7', 6" Helium HC for jig-pitchin' and C-riggin' but the 7'er should work just fine too.

I would suggest you go w/ a rogue or spend the extra money for a loomis worm and jig series these would be my top choices aside from daiwa heartland z which are in my opnion the best but very hard to get and expensive :-(

for the best buy i would go with a St. Croix Legend Elite EC70MF for a light carolina and jig or the EC70MHF for a heavy carolina and for any jig, or for a little shorter rod the Legend Tournament TC68MXF is an all around awesome rod, can throw like carolina on it, great jigs up to 1/2 oz., any size texas rig, and its specifically made for topwater.
