2301, Covering hooks?

I was playing around with the idea of covering my trebles a little better on my softbaits. So I mixed up a batch of soft plastic with consitency of most hand pours. I needed to add some wieght on a few baits so I wrapped lead wire around the hook shank.

Then dipped it, let it cool and dipped it again. Once I got a good jacket on it I clipped the plastic off the rigging hook on the treble.

with the soft plastic I am using it tears off the hook rather than bunching up in gap. Now I know what to do with all my bags of old finess worms.

I've wrapped lead wire around EWG worm hooks and added rattles. No plastic though. They work great with Mad Man craws.
