2596, Triton Boats customer service

I had a problem with my boat a few weeks ago... it was really hot out and my black plastic hatch in the bow cracked and broke. I was pretty bummed/disappointed since it really seemed like it broke for no reason, and my boat is a 2003, practically new still.

I emailed Triton to ask where I could get a replacement hatch since I figured it wasn't going to be too expensive and would cost me less to order online than to go to a dealer and screw around with getting it replaced. The guy mailed back and said they would replace the hatch sight unseen and all he needed was the serial # off the boat. A week later I had a replacement hatch. I was pretty pleased with their service. Overall I have been only moderatly satisfied with my boat, but at least they handled things.

The two other things on my boat that bug me are that the U bolts on the bow and stern have come loose and the bow bolt caused a leak in the boat when 2 guys stand in front. I was able to tighten them and it fixed the problem, but that to me is a poor design. The other thing is the paint, it's kind of a joke. Storing my boat outside, even under a cover, has caused a hundred little paint chips to start coming off. This I don't care about so much because it's cosmetic, but it's not that encouraging. Anyway, thx Triton for fixing my hatch. The new one looks stronger than the old one too.
