Too funny Rob, that's what I feel like using sometimes.

I am having a mice/rat problem right now too, they are in my house though x(

I think it's due to the cold weather and the fact that I'm surrounded by fields.

Anyway, I have been at war with them for awhile now, so I've been learning allot. Best thing you can do is find their point of entry into your boat, they more than likely are climbing up your tires. Make sure those are the only three spots where they can gain access, don't have your boat up against a tree, house or even under a tree if you can help it. Next is starting defending those three spots anyway you can, set traps around each tire or make a removable barrier that you can put around your tires but mice can't get over.

You will have to be creative and relentless, because they are both and much more.

Good luck!

screw a trap to some plywood it protects the carpet from guts and blood.(try bounce dryer sheets/sperment oil on cottonball read mice avoid these scents)

Take the little buggers fishing with you and head out to the delta, I bet you catch a freaking donkey striper on a live mouse :7

CZ's got the right idea. To catch the mouse in the 1st place how about a #30 hook with a mix of Velveeta and peanut butter (works great on traps) on 12X (1/4# test) fly fishing tippet and a micro light rod.
Tight lines,
Wade

i've heard of the peanut butter on the trap.....buddy of mine hot glued a pecan to the trap, no mess, until you snap a neck. You might also try moth balls.

Moth balls are also a good repellent for rodents. They may make your boat smell a little but it's worth it for no mice.

I have always been a fan of decon for poison but only out side. I jsut do not like to find there skeltons. I like the traps with peanut butter. I have not had any kind of luck with the naturel kind. I've found that they like the Skipp.

My house happens to back up to a creek with a ton of bushes and fruit trees. Its mice and rat heaven. It took me about three weeks to get them under controll. I had a strinng of about 10 traps and every third day I would go Change the bait and re-load. Good luck.
