Do you guys think the new Citica 200DPV could handle the big bait stuff? Mostly Hudds, Slammers, and some Rago baits. Nothing over 6 or 7 ounces. I know that they have the HEG in them now. Really think it can handle a ROF12 on 20 or 25 pound? Thanks for whatever you have to say.

It will but I would suggest saving your money and buying the Curado 300DSV instead. The Citica would be a good choice for the smaller baits with 15# line or braided line.

I love my Citica, but I would not use it for swimbaits. The high efficiency gearing is nice for reeling in big fish or baits but I doubt it takes off any of the stress of casting the big baits. Also the line capacity of the Citica is less that the old Curados because of the SF whiffle spool.
