So I have a Lunker punker Jr. in the mail. I have heard a lot of people complain about the hooks. Any one change out the stock hooks and rings?

What size hooks did you use? Did it have any effect on the baits action?

I only have the larger punker. I changed out the split rings to owner hyperwire size 7 or 8 is the best. The hooks I put on were some Owner 2/0 stinger trebles. Not sure of the number but they ARE NOT the 2X. Did it affect the action... not sure didnt throw it tonight. I dont anticipate that it will though. Might as well experiment for yourself they are only hooks and split rings.. easily reversible.

I use these same hooks on my Lunker Punker. It did not affect the action in any way.
