Is it true that the castaic platinums in the 6 and 8 inch don't swim very well? also, I've heard of people having problems with magnets falling off. Will the bait swim still without the magnets? Also, What size should I get for consistent bites, not necessariy tophies?

I personaly was not happy with the swim on the slow sinking 8". Now I have head good things about the 10" but that is it. I would say stick with the Hudd it works for Butch Brown}(

I suggest you get a 7" triple trout you can catch 100+ fish on one of them and they have the same action as the platinum and all swim true. I have cought lots of 1-3lb fish on mine!

I have not had a problum with the bait swiming. The magnets did fall out of the first bait I bought but the other 10" I have the magnets have not falen out. The bait still swims great without the magnets. I more I use the bait the more I like it.

I threw the 8" today for a couple hours with no problems so far. Before you buy the bait check and make sure it has both the front and back magnets, a couple i saw didn't even have a rear magnet. This bait easily does 180's and 360's, any goober can do it. I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to new lures so if there's a problem i'll let it be known :)
