call these guys!they are moderately priced @$60 for 25 aluminum repair rods BUT, that's CHEAP compared to the cost and pain in the butt of taking your boat to a welder... It'll repair aluminum, CAST alum. zinc, magnesium,POT METAL, YES pot metal! white metal galvanized metal , copper and brass I saw a demo of this stuff and IT IS AWESOME it's STRONGER than the surrounding material. and... YOU CAN DO IT YOPURSELF!! *** ALWAYS HEAT THE item to be welded-NEVER the rod!! It will fill pencil diameter holes like nothing flat also leaking rivets(not leaking anymore...!) and large splits from ,say a rock or something. ABSOLUTELY at best I've EVER SEEN!! All you need is a propane tourch and these rods, and you are BACK ON THE WATER IN NO TIME!! Good Luck and if you have any questions, I'll answer tyhem if I can. No I'm not affiliated , just VERY IMPRESSED !!! Good Luck and call them at 903-491-3370 (Phil Taylor ,mfg. rep) I met him at the Chicago fishing show this yaer.and ask about the HTS-735-II (roman #2) Fluxless Brazing Rod. --ALVO69 I have a flyer I can FAX you IF you have a fax # available (fax would be sent monday.) I get nothing for this , just trying to help EVERYONE OUT as this is BEST and EASIEST item I have seen for metal repair!! I'm buying some for my father aluminum boat next week myself....
