I've added 4 pictures to the end of my photo gallery of my boat project:

I've added a new motor, gotten a new trailer and put on a new up front fishfinder.

For the original boat and modifications, motor (used Johnson 15HP 2 stroke) and trailer we're talking about $1200.
At the end of this year I had some money come my way and I bought a better trailer, the 20HP Honda, the fishfinder, etc, etc, etc. I put an additional $5000 into it! I almost decided to just by a whole new boat, but I realised that this one is set up just how I like it. I've got a real nice little fishing machine now!

Sorry about the broken links, I'm looking in to how to fix it. Direct links to images should still work but I need to figure out how to redirect the old links to the galleries themselves.

Ken how do you like the Honda motor? I want to upgrade my motor to a 25 hp. Just curious if you're really happy with it.

Thanks!

I'm really happy with it. The thing that sold me on it is the HP for the weight. Most other motors take a huge jump in the weight after 15HP. The Honda used the same block for the 15 and 20HP. It seems very reliable, smooth and quiet. It has as much power as my little boat can handle! If you're on the Central Coast, the dealer I bought it from is in Atascadero and he has some in the showroom there.
