I assume it swims like a reguar bait but that lip is kinda weird?

from that picture it looks like one eye is on top and the other eye is on the bottom like a fish swimming sideway but the lip is on the "normal" way.

I dont think it is on sideways because the joint would have to be the oppiste way also?

Wow,
That bait is UGLY! I've seen some of their other stuff and liked it but that thing just doesn't quite do it for me.

It looks more like a minnow I doubt alot of the trout bait guys will like it much

I'm not a trout guy pursay, I was looking at it as a possible clearlake bait as a hitch imitator or something similar but those paint jobs are pretty bad. I suppose you could purchase one and get it repainted though since the price tag isn't horrible. Then again, with that much work just buy another bait! lol.

Steve, Matt, have you guys even fished one? I haven't, but I hear they are def. not a waste of money. No it's not a trout bait but... I'm actually annoyed I didn't order one b/c I was out of town and not paying attention and it looks like they are dust now, doh.

I've not fished it, I'm just going off my opinion of the paint job itself. I've no idea if they're fish catchers I just don't like their appearance much. To each his own.

First, it doesnt appear to be a big fish bait. Second, I have other baits that are less exspensive and likely more effective at targeting the size fish that the evergreen is targeting.

So, although it may be a good bait, it really has no place within my aresenal for what Im interested in catching.

However, if somebody wanted to give me one I would be more than willing to try it out:P

Yeah damn, secret got out soon! It's one of those S-motion baits, gotta couple and is a fish catcher. No trophy bait, but for bigger than average stuff. I've heard it's taken some big smallies in Japan. For those interested, there are few other similar baits, the Sride by Jackall and also Shimano's Triple Impact Sride (yeah, same name). These can be found on ebay. One mod they do in Japan to get a similar motion is to take a Castaic snap bait, shave the lip off, and add a sticker weight up front. You can also do this with a Monster Jack. Anyways, the 8" Triple Trout will get you both big and smaller fish!! Happy New Years, I guess this is my once a year post!

Don't forget to turn the eyelet 90 degrees to get the truer "S" swim out of the baits. Modiefied some hard baits with weight and turning the line tie eyelet 90 degrees.

It's a slow sinking bait that swims in an "S" pattern on retrieve. When it sinks it sways back and forth in the S manner but it isn't as exaggerated. I'm not sure what the sink rate is but very close to a Hudd 5. I have had success on varying my retrieves. Definately a solid bait but it will take a little time to find the sweet speed and swim patterns to get bit.

Heres a link to a video clip of the bait in action . I didn't think it looked very impressive to me (but I'm not a bass)
