If it swims like a trout and looks like a trout then it must be a ........Mattlures hard trout. http://momentoffame.com/snapshots/MomentOfFame/l66360.jpg http://momentoffame.com/snapshots/MomentOfFame/l66359.jpg

Matt, Looks pretty trick man. I can tell you spent a lot of time on the attention to detail aspects of the lure and the coloration is very nice. I was wondering if the bait is really that all or if the photo is a little distorted? It looks as tall as the 12" castaic rubber trout in that pic. Not that that's bad, it's just a really big bait :)

Rob, I dont think the photos have distorted it much, but I can assure you the shape is 100% accurate except for the joints. It may look a little tall maybe because most of the other trout baits are not correct. look at next to picture of a healthy real trout and you will see. I pride myself on realism, not just the way they look but the way they swim too. You will see when I send you some of my soft trouts. Matt

Cool - yeah there is a lot to be learned by looking at real trout compared to lures. It's wierd how they compare and how you find that a lot of lures (ones that work and one's that aren't so great) are not always really shaped all that much like a trout. The problem is, I have to get them all just in case one really works good. Damn my tackle box is getting crammed! There could be worse problems in life :)

Unreal, i mean really...........unreal. Beautiful work Matt! You got skills, keep it up. Looks like the most realistic trout hardbait yet. Did you cast the mold from a real trout? Also, when will this bait be available more or less? Peace, Moon

What good is it to tease us bass fishin' whores when you won't even be making these available soon!!! Rude man, Rude!!!
HaHaHaHa!! Just kidding! :D
Look forward to the day we can buy a bait with THAT much detail, I'm sure a trout eating bass would appreciate it.
How long did it take to make that thing?

Just got off a prefish, met up with the 3:16 lure guys at the
ramp, their new trout swim bait is "UNBELIEVABLE!!!"
if the production version works as good as the prototype your
all going to need one, or maybe 2. This bait is gonna rock.
If it shakes yank it.

Matt's lures are the real deal, I've held a few of his
prototypes in my hand, and they rock for looks, I would rank
them in the top 5 all time for looks, I have not tossed one
yet, as soon as I do you'll all know. Keep up the good work
Matt.

No problem. I really meant it. Are you gonna have them at any
of the Fred Hall shows?

BTW I completely agree with the height of the bait. I fish
trout alot at a little local park lake so I sort of know what
I am talking about, and this bait defenitely resembles a nice
healthy trout. Awesome, just awesome.

Thanks Mike,
that is one hell of a compliment coming from you!
To Jake, I wont be at the Fred Hall. From what I have been
told the selling spaces cost $1800. I would have to sell a
ton of baits just to break even! I will be selling to bait
stores in San Diego county, and on my website. For you guys up
north I will probably send some to Tacklewarehouse if they
will buy them.
