1845, New Bluegill pattern glide bait from muskysnax.com Posted by Snax, Tue Dec-05-06 09:49 PM
Hey guys,
Here's my first Bluegill I've ever attempted. This one is 6" long and is carved from cedar. Every bait I make is handmade and weighted and balanced before I paint it.

Nice! I like it, does it have the same action as your other baits?

Thanks Matt,
It has a sharper side to side swing than the more cylidrical body shapes. It also swims in a wicked "S" on a straight retrieve.
I have a video clip on my website of the Crappie in action which has the same body as the Bluegill you can see it here...

nothing is better than logging on here and seeing a new
swimbait. Great looking bait. New Rago baits look great,
Bettencourts new baits look sweet, Mattlures is putting out
some nice baits (and a few for us northern guys)....it just
goes on and on. Looking forward to seeing the results people
get with this.
Nice job.

Bait makers like myself can't thank you guys enough for the chance to show our stuff to our target markets.
I'm also a big fan of the other talented bait makers I've seen here, in particular Matt's Swim Baits which are the best I've ever seen.
Keep up the outstanding work guys!

Thank you Snax. I went on your site and saw your bluegill completed with the gloss. It is beautiful. You should post the finished picture.

Here she is with epoxy now. It really does bring them to life with that glossy top coat. Once again, many thanks to Rob and gang for this opportunity to show our products. I've added a link back to Calfishing on the sponsors page of my own website.

When you add pics to the forum, it's picky about special characters in the file name. In this case there was a parenthesis in the file name, which made the link not work. Avoid using characters like ( ) < > { } ! @ # $ % ^ & * in the names of your files and it will work better :)
