Went down to the two farm ponds again today. Started out in the bigger one in my boat. I hoped to get a topwater strike using a unique bait and I did. Sunny, almost no clouds, high 70s, little wind and a 4 lber hit the Slide Jack at about 11 AM.

Seth, you are correct in that description. Last year, my former boss(the owner of the two ponds I fish in) hired a pond management company to electro-shock(I helped by being the 'net man') both ponds and come up with a plan to enhance the Bass population. That report resulted in the owner placing some pellet feeders(solar-powered-auto 'on') on the ponds, taking dinks out of the ponds, fertilizing the ponds, and adding forage fish. It will take some time but the Bass should increase in weight.

Btw, my former boss has never fished and has no interest in doing so but he want's his ponds to yield trophy-sized Bass :) .

Pellets? Its to bad you can't just dump a truck load of hatchery trout in there. :-)
