Hey Vince, the only place to get one would be from Joe hisself.I think he's at clearlake right now but then you know. Are you fishing any of the delta tourneys this weekend?Me&Mitch will probably launch my boat from paradise point and fishing whites/dissapointment and then down to the port for some linesiders! If ya get out there...look for me('86 champion mean 15.grey with red stripes)

I'm launching out of Holland on Sat with Chad from Fisherman's Warehouse in San Jose. I had 2 back to back T's on the Delta last weekend and spent most of my time in the West Delta catching dinks. From what I've heard the East Delta bite has been really good and I'm going to head out towards Whites, Disappointment, Herman and Helens and the Stockton deep water canal. I'm a little disappointed that the jig bite has been off, but the flip side is that good numbers of fish are being caught on reaction baits all day along with soft plastics texas rigged. I just need to keep reminding myself to downsize when the bite gets tough.

I might also be on the water Sunday as my dad wants to go for some Salmon on the river. If that's the case then I'll launch our of Big Break on Sunday and spend a lot of time in the North delta (Montezuma, Rio Vista, etc) trowing cranks for Salmon and stripers. Hopefully I can go for the trifecta on the river catching a stiper, salmon and largemouth in the same day.

I'll probably run into you out there as we'll be on the water at first light. I'll keep an eye out for you and I'll be in the 18' red ranger w/ Mercury outboard. Good luck and tight lines!

Out of curiousity, what kind of conditions do you look for on the delta when throwing this? Besides bed fishing?

Hey Vince, sorry for the late reply,
I look for ambush points in the delta(or anywhere else)when tossing the big wood. Tule points weeds rocks wood, etc. etc. It's not a bait you will get alot of bites on but they will mostly be quality fish.
They catch stripers too!

Thanks. Steve.
