Money Lures has come out with its own Paddle tail swim tube (looks alot like the Basstrix). But before you rush out and buy every one of these off the shelf, I wanted to give my field report on them. I was in TackleWareHouse on Thursday and picked up a pack of them to try out at San Antonio on Friday morning....

I had it rigged with a Falcon Superline 3/32 oz 5/0 hook. on 15lb P-Line. The biggest difference I find with these baits compared to the BassTrix model is in the tail, The Basstrix model is thinner. This is the reason I found the Money Lure model to just drag when slow rolled. It has tail action when the retrieve speed is faster, but not at a slow speed like the Basstrix.

Just thought I would share what I found out fishing this new bait.
