Where the line tie is on that thing scares me a little. It seems to me that the line laying across the hinge like that could lead to line failure. I do like the look and idea of the bait though.

Interesting bait! Have to agree with john a little though. Definitely a need in the market for a bait like this.

Gents,
Just an fyi, no-line failure and the line doesn't enter the hing. No issues to date with the protos. So far we have had tremendous success with a trilene knot with braid and mono. Worldfair knot works well with mono.

1st DVL SoCal fish was 7.5 a last week. Going out again tomorrow morning topwater bite is crazy. Horrible self pic though of me and the fish, only got fish tail, bait, and knees...bleck.
