Since I dont know where your planning to fish I'll try and give you some ideas. Starting at Konocti Resort fish the marina and head south along the rock wall. There are some big fish in that area and you can fish it very much the same as you fish franks tract, but only deeper. You could also get in at Redbud and pretty safe and still catch a lot of good fish. Here you'll be fishing a lot of tules/ grass and docks. I would use a buzzbait a lot in all the types of cover or pitch a jig at the docks. Dont use less then 17lb in this area. If your up north fish out of state park. Fish the tules and weedbeds. The tules would be good for a frog or pitching a big plastic bait into. I have got some good ones out of this area at night. You can also back off the bank and throw a lipless or shallow running crankbait over the weed beds out there and catch a ton of fish. Good luck and we look forward to your report
