Hello I live in the sacaramento area and I am wondering are there any public bass ponds in the area. If not are there private ponds that will allow people to fish there.

Where in Sac do you live?. I know of a couple good little places. Theres Rancho Seco which is a tough bass lake, but I have caught some toads out there. And Mather Lake which has been on a slump the last couple years. I used to catch 20-30 fish a night out there, but the last few years it's been more like 4-5. Mather is a great place if you like to flip or throw frogs. Quality fish in both lakes.
