Hey guys I fish the Russian River a few times a summer going for smallies. I float down the river in my float tube casting crawdad cranks at the shore, flipping a bitsy bug jig, and casting a power worm. I caught one last year on a junebug power worm but the only other thing I caught in there was a squawfish. I am not much of a smallmouth fisherman, so I am just wondering if anyone is getting anything lately and what yall are using. Artificial bait only for that river though, sorry its the rules:-(

I live on the river down in Monte Rio. I haven't found the smallies down here. Heard of some dink stripers though.

I'm waitin' for the salmon & steelhead. I'd love to git 'em on flies this year. We'll see.
