Everything went smoothly. We had 17 anglers. Fishing was tough for most.


1st place- Eric Bent from Hunington SWBA, - 3.2lb calico- $170 and some TJWs

2nd place- Dale Barrington - 2.9lb calico- $85 and some TJWs

3rd place- Jason Nettleton- 2.8lb calico- Attaboy!


Thanks to everyone for playing, it was beautiful day.

Trix - Even though the fishing was a big disappointment for most of the teams we really enjoyed the event. Hope you and the San Diego gang can put more of these together. Also, hope some of you join us
for the SWBA series this next season.
Gotta give props to everyone who fished this one and enjoyed meeting
a couple of the group.
We'll be watching and be back if and when you put the next one together. My feelings are that event's like this can only help in
the Calico's future.

BTW - We finally got into a decent bite at 3:30 just up the line from the point. Prior to that it was brutal to say the least. Some
decent Sugar Bass and a couple sculpin but nothing in the way of weighable Cali's until late in the day.

Sounds like a fun event, wish I could of donated a few more bucks to the EB tackle/boat fund but (wife) had solid plans.

Eric, Congratulations on putting another feather in that cap of yours, Is there still room?

Josh - Yeah, weighin was 2:00 pm but, as always, we just wanted to stay out and see just how long it would take to come up with one that would have weighed. At 2:00pm we had nothing to speak of.
Plus, the weather was killer and that SD Coastline is way kewl just
to look at.

Not to worry, we'll be on time everytime this next Series for sure.
And, thanks for reminding me. :)
