gotta say whats up and congratulations to a few friends...

Nico Raffo - my regular fishing buddy is having a heck of a year this year. He caught his 3rd fish over 13lbs on the year recently (a 14.75 toad) and I don't know how many over 10 he's caught this year. A lot more than me thats for sure! Nico doesn't toot his own horn so I gotta do it for him a little :)

Cameron Smith - aka socalfrogger (someone get that guy a computer). Cam fished a team tourney on Hodges a few weeks ago by himself and took 2nd place and a nice check. More recently Cam and his dad took 2nd at the El Cajon Ford 2 day team tournament at San V and El Capitan and another nice check. When you come in 2nd to Mike and John you can't complain. Congratulations buddy :)

Brent Ehrler - I've had the pleasure of talking to Brent a few times over the years. I knew this guy was a damn good fisherman and he went and proved it at the FLW tour championship by up and winning the damn thing. Can you say $500,000.00 cash for first place??? What a stud.

Mitch Teman - I think if you asked Mitch about his kickboat tourney season this year he'd tell you its been kinda tough. But he went out to Rancho Seco for the B-n-T traveler's region tourney last weekend and sacked up a 12lb limit with a 6lb big fish on a tough night for the win. Congrats Mitch :)

Sometimes I think about the future and I think about all the young guys on this site who are just making their way in tournaments or big bass or whatever their passion may be and I just know that some day down the road some of the forum regulars will be putting up a post to talk about some big time tournament wins or some serious lake record or even world record size bass. Can't wait to hear about it :)

Nico is having a stellar year and should be very proud.

Cam/ socalfrogger also won 3 of 4 FLW Fed. Region 6 events making him there Angler of the Year by 12 points/places. That kind of points spread is unheard of, good job man.
