Guys, and Gals, I want to introduce a brand new exciting 8" soft plastic that is hitting the market as we speak. This bait is so realistic looking and has such an unbelievable action in the water, I know you will like it.

We've incorporated some very unique rigging into the bait. It comes standard with a bottom frog hook, but there is also a wire harness for easy attachment of a top frog hook as well.

Just to get the ball rolling, I am sending 1 free bait to the first five people who actually look at it and give me their thoughts on the lure. It is called the Bass Harasser, and you can see it by following these steps.

Go to www.reactionstrike.com
click on California Classics in the top left corner
Scroll down past the wood lures until you see the Bass Harasser.

I will be traveling the next two days, but when I get back I will send out the five baits to the lucky five who respond first.

Thanks, and tight lines,
Rick

Checked out the baits and I like the concept, the size is a good fish catcher that most people aren't afraid to throw. Obviously, they are similar to a lot of other baits on the market but the tail design is just different enough to gain a little interest. I'm not sure what I think of the colors, most of them are generic and remind me of the Storm baits but the site says you've got other rainbow trout colors so those might be more impressive. The one rainbow color that is showing looks pretty nice. Without seeing the bait in person or seeing it in person that is about all that I can say but it looks nice.

Baits look good, something I'd throw. I really like the idea of the frog hook coming standard, just because sometimes it is hard to find the right size for the different baits there are out there. The rate of fall system is almost a must with any swimbait line nowadays, but I like how you gave exact details on what each rate should be. I think if you sold them clear people would still buy them and fish them that way or come up with some crazy custom paint jobs. Anyways great looking bait and cant wait to see how they perform.

I like the size and think that the new tail may work well also. The bait is similar to other proven catchers that are already out there, but it is just a little diferent which might do the trick. Would really like to see the new trout colors. Thanks for the offer.

Hey man... great ideas on that bait. Ithink i purchasedsome shimmy shads fromyou guys once. Weird. Anyways, I thinkyoudid a great jobin taking what people didn't like about other swim baits and correcting that. Like the internal stinger harness...that is great. No more messing around with Braid or 7 strand. The colors could be a little more solid, and more silvery(for the trout pattern), but all in all, well done.

Ben, yes it was me you bought Shimmy Shads from. You must have seen us in In-Fisherman magazine or the big river striper show featuring the shimmy shads.

Thanks for all the kind words from all you guys.

Anyway, you guys all seem like a good group so what the hell, I will send you each a free bait. That is, everyone who has posted prior to this post.

Just please email me the address where you would like to receive the lure at:

richardquade@hotmail.com

There are only two caveats. First, please give me honest feedback. We are still tweaking our paintjobs, and we will get them perfect with your help. Second, if you like the bait, tell your friends.

THIS BAIT WILL RETAIL FOR ONLY $16 - $20, DEPENDING ON WHAT THE RETAILER WANTS FOR MARGINS. It is at least as nice as $35-$40 versions out there. We will be at the Bass-A-Thon so look us up.

Please understand that I will be gone all week and will not get these out until next Friday at the absolute earliest. They will go USPS so you will get them the week after that.

Hope you like them (actually, I know you will!)

The tail (VersaTail), is really awesome, and we decided to break with tradition and not flagrantly violate patents. That is why our tail is not in violation of the Stanley Jigs WedgeTail patent that so many of the lures out your way seem to have. I am sure some of you are aware of the legal bloodbath taking place.

Tight Lines,
Rick
