topozone.com IS a good one. I also came across topowest.com. Check that one out too. I don't know if you can do this on topozone, but you can have the option of having them print the topo map that you find on the site, and then you pay money and they send you a real map of what you found, so that's kinda cool. You can also view their maps at like 25, 50, 100 and 200 DPI for better/worse resolution.

567, "Free Fishing Maps"... I didn't like them.

I checked out the maps listed above. They are not very easy to navigate, and they loaded very slowly. I run a cable modem and was not impressed. I also tried them on a dial-up and just about fell asleep waiting for a couple maps to laod. Topozoze.com is still the way to go.

Tight Lines,

I've got a cable modem too, and the 200 DPI do take a little while to load, but IMO it's worth the wait.

Sorry Brian. I should have been more specific. I didn't like the map originally posted. Topowest.com was very detailed and a quality tool for those with highspeed modems. I actually liked that one. It's very similar to Topozone.com. Just a lifferent to navigate through. As for the other one, I didn't care for that at all! Talk to you later, Terry G.

Yeah, topozone is kinda weird. It does have some good maps for some areas, but I know the Santa Barbara area maps are worthless. Rob found some good ones for Clear Lake and stuff, but it's kinda area specific I guess.
