Never fished this lake before, but this website will definitely keep you informed on what and where the fish are likin'. As usual, with bass I would keep the basic arsenal on hand (spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and most importantly plastics). Reaction baits early, then plastics close or smack-dab on the bottom. Here in mid california our fish are pressured pretty hard by the overwhelming population of fisher-people and they get pretty smart. The plastics seem to be the most consistent bass catcher for me in San Jose. However, I do get some big fish on the blades and crankbaits once in awhile. I found that most bass over here in all lakes will hold (bite) in 15 feet of water or less. With that in mind, I would concentrate my efforts no deeper than 20 feet and also make sure that there is good structure or deep water near by. Keep in touch and good fishin'.
