This is a report for trout fishing today. I went with a friend whom always seems to catch them. We both caught are limit though. Nice size fish to say the least. These stockers were above 1 lb. I seen some below 1 lb. but, most were not. Our day started at 9 am. Windy it was. Not too bad though. The ramp itself held the most fish. So, of course, we were there. Here is the break-down: (these are the keeper fish only) 5 on yellow/sparkle Power Bait, 2 on Power Worms, 2 on mini-jigs, 1 on a dragged nightcrawler. The rest released were: 1 on a dragged nightcrawler, 1 on a Power Worm, 1 on a mini-jig, 1 on a Kastmaster, & another on Power Bait. We did not use spinners much. A DFG officer stopped by. Still nice to see them. Hopefully no one got greedy. He was OK with us releasing fish but, he said some others may not be OK with that because technically 10 fish for 2 people is LIMIT. If you cause the death of any fish beyond your limit you are responsible! Fines will be implemented! POACHING?! Hey, I don't wanna be labeled a POACHER! We stoppped using Power Bait after our limit, anyways. Wow, this is a long post. I hope some of you are not thinking ("please shut up now"). Well, I still have lots more to speak of ...
