Dec 24th Christmas Evil:

Still on my exercise kick, I hiked into my camo ponds around 8am.

I fished for about 6 hours. I got 5 bites and landed 2 bass. Tea bagging Ikas in the thick stuff was the hot trick. I got one chunky bass around 15” but, I was completely immersed in sticks and trees and didn’t have the camera on me. I was on all fours, shoving my pole through gnarly trees, then letting the Ika drop into holes in the roots. I got bites but couldn’t even pretend to set the hook. I was basically just fishing for bites.

Dec 26th:
After wasting time all morning, ended up going to Lake Jennings. Launched around 10am. Dropped anchor toss out the Power bait and put Lures on the kids poles.

After 2 moves and 2 hours we got very bored. I beached the boat so we could walk around and stuff. I tossed out the bait before I got out. As I was walking away I noticed a slight tap on the pole. Well the newsman sang his same song,… and that’s one more rainbow lover gone!
