Don’t let me hear you say life’s taking you nowhere,….run for the shadows.

Limited686 came to my house in the wee smalls. We hit up Barnacle Bill’s for some giant shiners, a dozen 6”ers to be exact(and VERY healthy) and headed to Jenny-O to catch Big Moe. Launched in the dark and soon afterward I caught this Mug on a Fat Free Shad.

My name is Sue, How do you do?

We dropped anchor and went to work with the giant shinners( Don’t you mean Shiners?… quiet boy, do you wanna get sued)and worms. Many many hours went by without a bite. We got bored so we parked the boat and walked around. I saw a couple of bass running around, so I went back and got a tiny homemade jig that I can’t describe. I knew if I could see em’ I could catch em’. Soon I was posing with the county judge who held a grudge.

I used my goto Jennings system all day(15” worm on mega sized Carolina rig) PLUS, we soaked lively giant shiners all day. Not only did we not find Big Moe, but we didn’t find much of bass biting. I only had 4 bites all day. Mike hooked a bass but I came off after jumping. The water is between 54-58 degrees. I was staring into the water all day and only saw 4 LMB. I saw 1000 trout.
