Fished El Cap from about 7am till about 4pm with Dshotter and Hook1Fred. Water was the clearest I’ve ever seen it. Coffee colored. Niiiiiice….
Weather was nom! Sunny and breezy. Fish was tough but doable IT IS December. We all managed a few.

Gene Gene the bassin machine was hot stick. He landed 5 or 6 plus brought one over 4lbs up to the boat, we all just gawked at it talking until it came off.

He’s my favorite honky,….very funky.

Brother Fred whacked a few on his trusty Roboworm drop shot.

I broke off 2, missed 2, and landed 2.

The bass were biting drop shots, Ikas, spider grub jigs, and C.rigs. I got this guy on a homemade 15” skinny worm.

Our fish were between 8’ and 30’ deep. Many different tricks worked. No love on the hardbaits at all.

Push it.
