Yeah no scales! Crazy fish. That fish (and a couple others that were the same) was caught out of Los Banos Creek Reservoir. Let me tell you friends they fought like crazy!!! I thought I had a 20 inch rainbow on and saw these smaller fish coming threw the clear water towards my net ;) . Dont know if this helps, but two years back someone told me they accidentally planted steelhead in there. I caught plenty of fish that were all silver, shaped like rainbows with no color and most of the time didnt even have any spots. Im a bass fisherman so my trout knowledge isnt that great but the fish in the picture got me thinking they possibly werent rainbows especially the fact that they were scaless unlike the other fish I caught that day.

One more question for you folks...can trout spawn in a lake without running water? I saw some trout at that lake the other weekend and they were only 5 inches long swimming 2 feet from the shore. Looked like my smaller swimbait...they dont plant them that small right?
