Got a chance to go out with a buddy with a boat on Saturday. Were on the water by first light and did real well in the Jackass bay area using the "Baby Bass" super flukes again. Had about 12 fish (catch and release, of course) between the two of us by 11am, 3 of them in the 5 pound range. They were all up just off the clumps of reeds growing along the shore. Then the bite slowed down. We got another small one using a 6"worm...then my friend hooked onto a hog with a fluke. Measured it at 23", didn't have a scale. Had lots of fun...I'm promoting myself from "beginner" to "novice" bass fisherman!! :)<BR>Ken A
