The South Bay is an area that doesn't have much fresh water but there is some. You can check out Alondra Park. If I'm not mistaken it's located on Redondo Beach Blvd and I know that there are some big bass living in that pond. If I lived in the South Bay I think I would pass on the local park and go fish the surf. Right now the Corbina are on a good one along the beaches throught out the bay. Good luck,.
