12639, Has anyone been to Apollo Park in Lancaster??? Posted by , Thu Mar-04-04 03:00 PM
I have never fished there. I am looking for some pointers about the place. For example: where snags are, deep spots, where they plant, & where the fish are usually bunched up at?

I have never fish there but have relatives in Lancaster that state it is a good place to wet a line... If you live in that area you should look into Palmdale Lake... That is a great trout fishery and has some good size bass...

Hey Chuy, Palmdale lake belongs to the Fin and Feather Club. Technically it's a private lake but lots of trails lead into the dam area where people sneek in to fish. It cost around $450 to join, but if you know someone who is a member they can take you for free.

I have an uncle that is a member... I suggested it because I thought that fisheezgonnadie lived in the area... That is what I meant by looking into it... The initial fee is a lot but after that I believe it's somewhere around $150 a year... Still very nice lake... Here is some trout from that lake... http://groups.msn.com/ChuysCrew/fishingalbum.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=7
