Anybody have advice for the Delta? I'll be up there at the end of the month and looking to get my double digit fish.So just looking for some recommendations on what to use and where it has been good. Thanks!

what part of the delta will you be at? I take it you will be in a boat?

Yes I will be in a boat but I'm not sure what part I will be in.I will be fishing with my friend Dan Issacs who is a Shimano pro-staff.I'm sure he knows where to go but I want to make sure I bring the correct tackle with me so I don't have to use all of his stuff.I just want to know what colors and what types of lures/plastics

ok cool...besure to bring a few flip'n sticks and rods for throwing, buzzbait, blades, frogg's and shallow cranks. Dont have anything lighter then 15lb test on your rods. I use 17 for blades and 30 to flip.

as for plastics, as anywhere senko's work in just about any color. I usually flip craw colored plastics myself,i know brush hogs are popular, also have some cranks, shad and craw speed traps as well as some shallow craw colors like mid -1 or timber tigers. Hope this helps

Thanks for the suggestions!I'm glad youtold me to bring heavy line I usaully on fish in SO Cal and light line is the key,it would be a shame to make my way up there just to loose fish. Thanks again!

My advice is reaction. Buzz baits, frogs, spooks, poppers. Carry one flippin-stik and a senko for missed blow-ups. Move around and try differant areas. If its windy throw a blade. Good luck Sean
