I just wanted to relay this message from my friend Erin Guerrero. She is Assemblyman Dave Cogdill's Legislative Director.

"Now that AB 7 has been passed by the Legislature, we'd like to keep up the efforts of people contacting the Governor's office. Attached are 2 documents - one is the sample letter to the Governor requesting him to sign AB 7 and the other is a list of ways to contact the Governor's office. Please feel free to disseminate this info.

Thanks.

I will just include the numbers and email to make it easier:

How to contact the Governor:

By mail:
The Office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
State Capitol, First Floor
Sacramento, CA 95814

By phone:
916-445-6131

By e-mail:
Using the on-line form at www.govmail.ca.gov or governor@governor.ca.gov

By fax:
916-445-4633

The letter that she is speaking of is the same one that anglers have been sending off of the FOCH (Friends of California Hatcheries) site:
http://www.friendsofcaliforniahatcheries.org/Contact%20Governor.htm The Letter on the site was provided by Cogdill's staff.

If you haven't yet sent a letter, please do so and if you have, you can still send a personal email or fax. Or you can even send another electronic letter from the FOCH website.. We need to blitz the Gov....
