Hey everyone, I am going to Lake Shasta for the first time on the 18th of Aug and I want to fish it badly. anyone have any pointers as where to go for trout and bass and what is biting there?

I live next to Lake Oroville and am always looking for someone to go float tube fishing with.

Bass at Shasta in a float tube. I would go to Packers Bay and throw topwater at first light, the rest of the day drag plastics. This lake fishes a lot like Oroville and is loaded with spotted bass. Hve fun.
