So how did everyone's 2007 end up? Did you accomplish your fishing goals for the year or stink it up? Did you catch your PB or dump it at the boat?

My year over all was decent. In 2006 I went fishing a total of 4 times the WHOLE YEAR with a grand total of ZERO bass so this year my main goal was just to get out on the lakes more often. That I accomplished.

My other main goal was to throw swimbaits and get another 10 pounder to my credit since its been about 4 years since that has happened. Unfortunately I did not accomplish this but got close with a 9.7 lbr on a BBZ-1 slowsink. It also happened to be my first bass of the year.

Spring was slow. In the summer I didn't fish at all. Fall turned in a good swimbait bite but they were mainly stripers instead of largemouth. I didn't care though. Catching 7 stripers between 10-16.1 lbs in one day on wakebaits was damn fun.

A lot of no fish days punctuated by some multifish days. That seems the be the life of a swimbait fisherman. Lets bring on 2008!
