I'm with Rob on needing a lighter action rod...when I only had my Okuma XH rod I had a harder time keeping wake bait fish pinned. I use the 7-11 MH for my 6 inch MS slammer and Wake Bait Jr. and my 7-11 H for my 9 inch slammer and big walking baits. I think the lighter tip in these rods help to keep the fish hooked. I just sweep and reel like I do when fishing crankbaits
