Heard about this killer Bass lake in the hills around Irvine? I was told that it's by invite only and that 100 fish days are common. I got this info from a relaible source and he stated that it's a members only type of lake. Anyone out there here of it?

are you talking about the south and north lakes of the woodbridge community homes in irvine? well if thats what you're talking about, then you can only fish there if you live in woodbridge or you know someone who lives there. other than that, then you can fish all you want. but i dont think 100 fish days are common...unless we are talking about something totally different here.

Not Woodbridge- It's Siphon Resevoir- actually Bee Canyon- The only guys that fish it are old crusty guys who belong to a select group. They planted trout in there this winter, that should keep the old guys happy as well as the bass. Not a 100 fish a day spot at all, but good numbers of chunky fish, not any double digits to speak of, but if you can get in there you'll see a couple of 4's and 5's. Wait, I'm not a member, what am I talking about?? ;)

Next week- Rattlesnake
