I don't know anything about Bob Sands. I don't know who owns Bob Sands, and I don't know anyone who works there. I don't know anything about this tackle swap meet, nor should I have to know anything about it because what I am about to say isn't about Bob Sands tackle store or this swap meet. LET ME MAKE IT CRYSTAL CLEAR THAT THIS POST IS GOING TO BE ABOUT WHAT THE DEAL IS CONCERNING ADVERTISING ON THIS FORUM.

If you have followed this site for long enough you will realize that I tolerate a certain amount of advertising posts, within reason. I do this for people who are regular contributors to the site in a fishing sense, and for people that I know personally. That's my perrogative and I never let it get TASTELESS. I hope you can see how if someone had emailed me and told me about this tackle swap meet and what it was about, then this would be a whole different story. What GETS ME PISSED OFF is when I go to check the forums and I see THE SAME POST on multiple boards from someone THAT HAS NEVER POSTED BEFORE who is ADVERTISING FOR SOME PRODUCT, SERVICE, OR WHATEVER ELSE.

If I wanted my website to be a vehicle for advertising, I WOULD MAKE AN ADVERTISING BOARD.

If you don't like this, then feel free to go somewhere else. It's posts and threads like this that make me wonder why I pay money out of my own pocket for this thing. I get a big fat ZERO dollars from running calfishing.com. I don't even break even, I pay every cent of the hosting bill out of my own pocket. I do it because I love to fish and I love to talk fishing. I don't put up with BS like this because I've seen what it's done to other fishing forums, and it's not going to happen here.

I'll let this post fly so that everyone else can see what is going on and decide for themselves what they think about it. In the future if you post spam or advertisements on this site it will be deleted immediately and if you post it again I will block you from the site. There won't be any discussion about it.

And lastly, for you to inisnuate that I don't care about the MPLA is COMPLETELY BASELESS AND HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS POST.
