Guys, I have been freediving activly for the past 15 years. In the begining, if a diver saw one or two seabass a year, he was a good diver. Very few divers shot local seabass regularly.

Then about 5 or 6 years ago, we started to see them on the coast with more and more regularity, but most were short. Every year we are seeing more and more fish, and they are getting bigger and bigger.

I can honestly say, that 3 out of 4 dives (coastal) I see legal fish, and now we are not shooting the 10lbers, because we are seeing 15's, 20's and bigger almost every dive.

It is an amazing recovery, since the gill nets have been banned.

Cant wait until greylight tomorrow, soaking a squirt....
