Fished HH in my tube tonight. 1st time to fish there in a tube. Launched by Simple Green building at 6:00 PM. Kicked out to Shell docks, and worked my way down to Peter's Landing with the incoming tide. The current was ripping when I started out, but it soon died down.
At the third dock I hooked the big fish of the day. It was a Whopper Spottie that pulled me around for awhile. It was hard to tell but I'd say it was easily 16" and fat. It ate a chartruse Kreepy Krawler on a 3/8 oz. football head. The next 2 Spotties ate the same color. Then as the sun was starting to go down I switched colors to motor oil. The last Spottie along with two Halibut liked that choice. I had one monster bite that I missed. The rod doubled up like never before, but he spit it out just as easy as he sucked it in. Damn that would have been a nice fish!

I finished up about 8:00 PM, with the final count 4 Spotties and 2 Halibut. A lot of fun for a few hours.
