went on the tracer overnight trip yesterday with a few allcoasters PK,JC, & junkyardHunter and it was a great trip we started the trip by leaving the dock early yes early at about 8:45pm saturday night gotunderway got the speech and got bait talked for a few and hit the sack.
got up at about 6am to start trolling i was on the first trolling group since i was #3 and before i could even get my sevenstrand mean joe green lure out all way i was hooked up and stopped the boat for our first stop which ended up being for 5 hours and 120 albies most on bait but i took 3 albies on the plastic "channel island chovie color" everyone did good on the first stop it did die off after awhile so we started trolling again and not more than 15 mins of trolling and the boat is stopped again for the last stop of the day i got 1 fish hooked up on plastic on the slide but it decided to keep my plastic and spit the hook (good thing because i was almost spooled and couldnt get his head turned) so i wne t and got my 40lb setup with 40# flouro leader and 4/0 ringed hook and pinned on a nice lively dine tossed it out and immediatly on one of the 3 bluefin i pulled off this stop

so needless to say this was a great trip and we all left with alot of fish

thanks to the tracer crew and captain steve for putting us on the fish and thanks again to PK for getting me on the trip

it was great to fish with a bunch of great guys cant wait to go again
