Congrats on the nice looking Corbina. I can tell by the ear-to-ear grin that you were stoked to catch that fish. Hopefully you won't have to wait long to catch another.

I agree with Aztecwin, I have better luck using sandcrabs. I've been casually surf-fishing for the last 5 yrs myself and have gotten more into it in the last 2 years. I haven't caught very many, but the few Corbs that I have kept all had sandcrabs in theire stomachs.

But hey, I caught one on a grub (motor-oil/red flake)laced w/pro-cure calico cocktail sauce, so who knows. When I fish grubs, I use scents to increase my "odds" as I need all the help I can get.
