After hearing Gill Turners Corbina story a few weeks back, I decided it was time to take him up on his invite to fish these guys. He dug the sand crabs for us this morning (thanks for hunting them down Eric), so all I had to do was show up with my gear.
So after work I crused home, grabbed my gear and drove to his place. Off we went to catch these elusive things. At his spot, he explained how things work, what to look for, and how to fish them. We moved down the beach trying to sight fish. I saw several would be swerals in the water, but only glimpses of two fish.

First Eric hooks up a pearch, then another one. We moved spots and I hook up a pearch. Then we move spots again and I hooked up perch number two. Not what we were looking for but fun non the less. We rounded out the evening with the pearch going every few cast. Finally almost in the darkness I hook up somthing that pulls drag. It was the right kind, although not very big, still a Corbina.

Thanks Eric for the professional guide service. I hope you get them tomorrow morning.
