I saw in this board in the past some mention of a SB sportfishing club. Is that still happening? and if so who, where and when? Thanks for any info.

We normally meet the first thursday of the month. This month we will be having our annual banquet, I believe on the 17th. I will verify that date tonight.

The club costs $30 a year $25 for renewal. We have about 8 fishing tournaments, from lake fishing to surf, salmon, halibut.

It is a great group of guys, a great place to meet the guys who have been doing this right, right here and form Alaska to Mex, for many years. Many guys have boats, and like to take others out. ( hint - bring gas money, lunch and be ready to help wash the boat. that will buy you invaluable info, spots and techniques)

I will find out how much room is left for the banquet, it is $13.50 and also has a great raffle at the end of the night. ($thousands of $$ of gear rods, reels and tackle.)
