Weeeeeeeellll,…Ninja and I did a little grocery shopping in SD bay on planet Claire. Planet Claire has pink hair, all the trees are red. No one ever dies there, no one has a head….The morning variables were perfect, we spent the morning trying to find Big Moe. We were unsuccessful in that endeavor. We fished till the slacker tide and then set our minds to hali mode. We were planning in fishing for halis large mouth bass style with plastics and whatnot, but at that point the wind began to BLOW! My anchor was insufficient.

It’s a beautiful world we live in, a sweet romantic place. Beautful people everywhere, the way they comb there hair makes me want to say…The wind simply wouldn’t be kind today. Making it very difficult to show the bay fish who’s boss. We didn’t get what we wanted, but we did get what we needed. Isn’t that a Rolling Stone lyric or something? We managed to catch enough to feed our desires and families. We caught an assortment of inshore fishes, most of which left us wanting. The appropriate sandbass were relocated into the ice filled cooler. Here’s Jimmy with a couple of 10 lbers!!

I pulled this bass from a chunky kelp patch growing in front of the municipal pier. You can see his kelpy camo coloration. Wannabe calico.

Get on your bad motor scooter and ride.
