Took the wifey, the aunty, and the childlins out this morn. I had high hopes of introducing them to the exciting world of topwater bassin saltwater style. We launched at the crack and wind was already blowin. Not good. Went to the kelp anyway and lasted all of about 10 minutes before the barfing started. My wife got one 14” calico on a 7” Power jerkbait twitched over the strings before we bailed.

Plan B was to drop shot and drift the bay looking for big brown Moe. No brown ones today. Plenty of spotters and a few small sanders. No lizzers
