"Son David Osuna caught a 24 1/2 inch 15lb 3 oz Sand Bass and the fish and game said it destroyed the current record. My 9 year old son landed this monster on Monday Nov.24th 2008 around 11am. My husband and son were in 250 ft of water right at the internationl reef off Imperial Beach. Its all over the news on Fox5 and will be showed all day tomorrow. My husband Eric Osuna and I are extremely proud of our son and glad to see such a deserving kid get a new record. Wow, what a catch!!!! Good luck"
